Year after year, thousands of movies come out all over the world; however, viewers only run to the newest superhero flick, or the latest Tarantino film. This year, there will be a new and exciting movie coming out nearly every weekend! The following are the top ten films coming out this year.

10. Hail, Caesar!

Out in theatres February 5th, follows George Clooney, Josh Brolin, Scarlett Johansson, Jonah Hill, and many more on an adventure of trying to keep the Hollywood studio’s stars in line during the 1950s.

9. Deadpool

Spice up your valentine’s day weekend with this highly anticipated film out February 12th. Ryan Reynolds is back as Deadpool, but this time, there is no censoring him! Deadpan is a former Special Forces operative turned mercenary as he is a subject to many experiments that eaves in with highly amped up healing powers.

8. 10 Cloverfield Lane

Due out March 11, starts John Goodman, John Gallagher Jr. and Mary Elizabeth Winstead who wakes up from a car crash to find herself in a bunked more than ten feet below ground level to a man who says he saved her from a chemical attack that left the outside world uninhabitable. Could this be a continuation of 2008’s Cloverfield?

7. Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice

Comes out on March 25th and My Big Fat Greek Wedding Two is also due out that same day. Changing batman for the umpteenth time, Ben Affleck comes back with a vengeance as he battles Superman, (Henry Cavill), as well as Wonder Woman, (Gal Godot). Will this Batman film be too over hyped and flop like Avenger’s 2 did?

6. The Huntsman: Winter’s War

Due out April 22, this is the second Huntsman film, as Snow-white and The Huntsman came out in 2012, this one revolves around Ravenna, (Charlize Theron), and Freya, (Emily Blunt), who are two evil sisters who prepare to conquer the land, though Eric the Huntsman, (Chris Hemsworth) and his forbidden lover Sara, (Jessica Chastain), set out to stop the madness.

5. Captain America: Civil War

May 6 will be a highly anticipated date as Captain America and Ironman deck it out as political interference gets in the way of their friendship.

4. X-Men: Apocalypse

May 27 is a date that two films will go head to head as Alice Through The Looking Glass also comes out. Though, Apocalypse, will be the third film in the revamped X-Men series. With the awakening of the world’s first mutant, Apocalypse. The X-Men must come together to defeat him and his plan of world extinction.

3. Ghostbusters

From the original Ghost Busters in 1984 with the hilarious Bill murray and Dan Aykroyd, comes a revamped version of Ghostbusters with an all female cast coming out July 15th. See Kristen Wiig and Melissa McCarthy team up to defeat monsters and ghouls with Chris Hemsworth by their side.

2. Suicide Squad

Jared Leto has everyone’s eyes focused on him to see if he can do an amazing version of the Joker as Heath Ledger had done in 2008’s The Dark Knight; on August 5, see the Suicide Squad come together as the super villains they are and execute the bad guys.

1. Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them

On November 18, five years after the last Harry Potter film was released, comes the adventures of the writer Newt Scamander, who works in the secret community of witches and wizards, seven years before Harry himself, attends the school where Harry reads the books that Newt had written.

Of course there are tons more film that are due out this year, however, these are the most exciting and most anticipated as they are unique in their own way.
